Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the novice continues to be one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly happening.
